hmm thats interesting. i ran 11.57 still spraying 100hp. with a 1.61 60ft and a 7.2 1/8 then its runs out of gear. it has 4.11 in it now i think ill go to a 3.7. hopefully that will leave some room to spray 130 and a bit more.

Damn this motor is so timing sensitive. small chamber 9 port, flat tops and a n/a cam that builds a bunch of cyilinder preasure by its self without nitrous. down to 16 deg total on nitrous and pump fuel. does anyone know the thickness of the tw0 types of acl composite head gaskets are for 202s. the only info they have are their copper ones and they are 40 thou and 63 thou?

Acl Race Series (composite)gasket is .040" which should have the same volume as the .040" copper gasket, 7.2cc.

thanks for the info. do any of you know roughly how many points of compression you might drop from going from 40 thou to 63 thou?

That will depend highly upon deck height, piston volume and chamber size i believe, but just rough in my head calk it looks like the .063" gasket would be around 11cc for your calculations.

Cheers.

Cool. Love how it just overpowers the tyres every time you squeeze the throttle :)

that car has gone 1.61 60ft 7.2 1/8th and 11.57 114. with 4.11s and a cold low bottle. is the vid we changed to 3.45s and had 950psi in a full bottle. the time boards werent working right but its deffenetly picked up top end. id think it would have gone 116mph easy.

the cam specs are
in. 248@50
ex.248@50
in.lift.334
ex.lift.334
108 lsa
1.5 ratio rocker on intake and 1.6 on the exhaust.
the converter is a tce 8 inch 3500 stall speed and flairs to about 4500 on nitrous.
about 11.5.1 commpression ratio.
the cam is designed for a n/a motor and probably not the best for nitrous but we are only shooting 100 hp at the moment so it loves it.
