Will post a few pics of the engine bay tonight. She's running methanol injection, no turbo, s/charger or nos needed, although there's always plans in the pipeline :)

It was for sale well over a year ago in Loxton? Maybe that's the one you're thinking of?

There's a few video's on You Tube that the previous owner, Vince took. I'm sure he won't mind you putting it up either :)

A bit has been done to it since, mainly to get it more consistent. When Vince owned it, the quickest she was going was 7.2 on the 1/8th, now she's consistent 7.0 1/8th

i and im sure a few others have used a chev inline 6 pro billet distributor. then you just need to shorted the base to the same hight as a stock holden one. there is a write up on here , i think in the engine section, that shows how to modify a jeep distributor. MSD do a jeep one and a chev inline 6 oned which are the same. as far as ignition amplifiers go any of them will work.
some are just an amplifier and some have other things like boost or step retards and curves, ict and data logging.

i forgot to answer your question....the best place to get them is summit or jegs. far cheaper than you can get over the counter here.

Bit of a throw together motor lol. 186, blue rods, 202 dish pistons, 6.1:1 compression, same stockish head, ebay gt45 @30psi. Since this run its got an efi setup, some water meth and a single 4" exhaust into twin 3". Should be at track soon hopefully.

And just for interest sake of the EFI. Cheers

May I ask what stall speed you are running because when it finally comes on boost at around the 1/8th mark is fair hauls A$$, prior to that its awfully ummmmmm "soggy"..................been following this car for a while, and loving the fab work and development thats going into it, well done.

Yeah it was the primaries until about 5000rpm in 1st gear lol. Couldnt stall it at all, now with EFI I can go WOT on the footbrake :spoton: .  Still can only build about 1-2psi but still better than vacuum lol. Thinking of upping the comp abit to help it out. Cheers

If you can get it to 60' better, it'll be a weapon at 133mph. Maybe time for a different convertor.

Yeah I could loosen the convertor about 500rpm but then it'll just overpower the tyres lol. Its virtually on the limiter crossing the line now also, so either less gears or more cam :spoton: . Cheers

Mechanical injection, 9 port head by the looks of it. It's a pity that the video is so grainy.
