Yeah, I was the same before I got this car. Now I have it, it's great. Can drive comfortably at 140 km/h with no real wind in the cabin like you would with the window open, and lets all the heat out from those extractor heaters sitting under the floor pan. It's well done, has never leaked, and if I leave it closed at car shows, most people don't even realise it is there (it's metal and painted body colour, like they fitted on the Statesman's). I know of an L34 with a manual version of the same sunroof in it. It is also Yellow.I never understood why that attitude is so common, whether original or not - they don't leak if installed correctly! Too many pessimists I reckon, they must never drive their cars for fear something might go wrong with it...?
I always get, "Oh he ruined it by putting a sunroof in it!!!". It came from the dealer that way in 1974 and has been in the car since new.
