OK. Paint has finally happened. I think it looks fantastic, but I may be a tad bias : )
First thing I have to say, is there has not been any photoshopping in any of these pics. Seriously, there was no changes made, so don't hassle me about photoshop : )
Here it is in the booth after the black was applied and back masked.
I still assure you 100%, these are real unmodified pics. And before you start, yes, they are pics of the same car : )
I really like the pink. It reaches out to my more feminine side : )
It's such a pity the pink is only the base coat for the real colour : )
The pics really don't do the colour justice. Even though it's a solid colour, it really reacts well to different light.
It's even a little bit straight and shiny : )
So there you go.
The flares, mirrors, tank straps, wiper motor and hatch handle will get painted today or tomorrow then it can come home : )
Then I just have to wait for the chrome to come back.

Nice job Tim. All that extra time you spend on the body makes it all worthwhile when it turns out like that.

I haven't got the actual name of the colour, I just have the paint code. (don't know it off the top of my head though). It's a lamborghini colour.
If it was just going to be one colour I'd have used 2k, but because it's 2 colours we used COB so you can't feel a step where the colours meet.
