Hi Peter, you could be right there. I'll have to wait until someone is here to help with a manual bleed, as gravity isn't pulling anything through at all. Silly brakes.

I bought a couple of the Earls Solo-Bleed nipples. They seem like a good idea however I have not tried them yet. Once the brakes are bleed you can either leave the solo-bleed in or replace it with the factory bleeder and keep the solo-bleed for the next job.

Nice,
hey heres a thought, put your mod plate inside the door jam, out of the engine bay,
Baz

Interesting thought Baz, but he says it has to be where the other compliance plates are, so in this case it has to be the engine bay. If it were an LX and didn't have big removeable panels where the headlights mount (like this one does) the mod plate could have gone between the back of the headlight and the radiator.

That looks awesome Tim well done, the front end looks even tuffer then i expected. :spoton: One question, in the pics the bars look to have a semi dullish finish to them which i like, is it chrome or the same coating you used on the headers? or maybe its just a trick of the lighting? anyways top effort you bro will be stoked.

truly one inspiring build to us all on here, must be truly awesome to drive this baby!?.....

Congratulations on getting it this far. Yeah this build has been really inspirational.

Your bro needs a reason to bring the car down to Victoria so we can check it out in the metal. It looks quite pornographic!

This build is awesome! Fantastic job! Love getting into work on Mondays and seeing what else has happened on it over the past week.....

with the mod plate - it seems everyone who does them has different opinions. My brother has an EH with basically all the same mods as this car and he was told the blue plate just has to be put on any non-removable panel. So his was put in the boot out of sight.(but easily seen if needed).

I only drove it up the road, and didn't give it any as it still has no power steering hoses, no wheel alignment and no rego, so wasn't trying too hard : ) Felt good though.

You'll be able to help me out with my hatch, hey Tim! You can come up and stay with me and I'll supply all the beer and food and we can camp in the garage until it's done :) I don't care how much the missus whinges about it. I know you're not much of a fan of the humidity up here but I'm moving to mount isa in December.... The dry heat is much more comfortable for making my droptank......and all the other stuff :) oh, and one more thing, when we move out west, the missus said I can buy an F-250!! So when the torry is done, we can pimp the shite out of the effy :) ............ Maybe I should adopt you.
