Hey guys. This car is going up for sale so anyone with $50k should get in contact with Simon. Or, give me $50k for my torana ute and I'll buy this myself : )

Wow, that seems pretty cheap considering what work has gone in to the car Tim. Is Simon (via your good self) gonna do another car?

Jase, I don't think so.
ott308 the chassis number is still there, the smoothing was done around it.

Found a couple of nice things when stripping paint from the roof. You've got to love all these good repairs : )I thought the yanks were the only ones stupid enough to drill holes in sheetmetal to pull dents??? I'm proven wrong : )There was a fairly large low spot on each side above the doors too.It took a while to dig all the bog out of these low spots.Getting the paint off this thing was a pain. It just melted into the sanding discs, so took a while.I was amazed at how badly the hatch lined up. No wonder they put that horrid rear spoiler on it, to cover this up : )The C pillar after a bit of sanding. The rear panel under the lights was a mess too. The whole rear end is pushed in, and full of bog. Awesome : )
When sanding the paint back to bare metal, what sanding disc's do you use.

Hi I followed this awesome build many moons ago just wandering what happened to all the images on the post I’m want to do a uc to lx conversion?
Have a look on Youtube for Tim Johnston.
Some collages of jobs that might help, as well as a pretty good starters guide to body work.
He was reasonably active on Facebook, but seems to have dropped his contributions there as well.

The forum software appears to have corrupted the links to the photos.
The forum link below does not work.

If you remove cache.gmh-torana.com.au/ from the links then the photo will load.

I have a copy of the pictures however the original pictures are still available in photobucket.
If you click on the image link then a page will open with an address like the one below.
https://cache.gmh-to...na/_MG_0552.jpg
The correct address is
https://i567.photobu...na/_MG_0552.jpg
A forum admin could fix the links.
Just remove "cache.gmh-torana.com.au/" from the image address.
