Is there some meeting point on the Saturday morning for anyone cruising up from down south?

Does anyone travelling want to meet up at Thornleigh Maccas Saturday morning?
I know TSN007 was thinking of organising a meeting point and time.

Or earlier for us ? Will you be getting on the hume from Wilton?

Ill get on the hume at Mittagong.

I may have looked like that during my surfing years, but after 45 odd years I have developed a verandah over the tool shed so that Toranafest attire will not be seen :clap:

To answer your question, yes! Anyone and any Torana can enter Toranafest! I do apologise about the website, I have been assured that it will be up and running by the end of June.. In the meantime, if you could email me at [email protected] I will send you an entry form.

FYI, to all..

A bit of an update...

With just under three months to go, things are starting to get hot, and "When You're Hot, You're Hot".

We have just hit 54 entries and that is 54 more that we had this time last year!! I would say to you all, that our goody bags cut off at 250, so you should get your entries in sooner, rather than later. I have a feeling that we will surpass the magic 250 entries this year!

To those who have booked accomodation at the Toranafest Motel.
We have had an incident where someone had booked a room in his name, as well as being part of a club's booking.. Please, if you are part of a club's booking, do not rebook a room in your name. Go through your Club and let them book the rooms. Otherwise you will end up paying for two rooms and someone may miss out on a room!

I would suggest that those clubs that have booked rooms, if you could get in touch with the motel and let them know the names of those staying, that will stop this problem from happening.

Just a reminder to you all, We have security on patrol at the motel for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

There are some rooms left and this is the place to be if you are coming from interstate, or even from Sydney, as some are doing. The Motel and the Club are putting a huge effort into the Sat night BBQ and this will be a great night for those attending! We lookforward to seeing everyone there in the best 70's outfits!

Hi guys, not sure where the problem lies with double bookings etc but I pretty sure its not with me. I have now twice rang the motel to confirm there are no rooms double booked in my name or that of the ACT where some earlier confusion may have been

I rang Mark on the 11th June and spoke with Eliza today (Liz has been ill) Seems all is well as far as we are concerned.

Our room is actually in Keiths name.

Probably when you phoned at my request they put the room in your name. Makes no difference at all so long as we have a room
