Hi all..

A bit of an update...

With just over 70 days to go, I think that everyone is getting a little anxious and people are starting to get their cars ready for the 'fest!

Entries are coming through steadily and we are sitting at around 80 at the moment. If you are coming and haven't sent your entry, please don't leave it to the last minute as the Goody Bags are limited to 250!

There are about eight rooms left in the motel for the Sat night (plenty for the Firday and the Sunday) and this is the place to be if you are coming from interstate, or even from Sydney, as some are doing.

The Motel and the Club are putting a huge effort into the Sat night BBQ and this will be a great night for those attending! We look forward to seeing everyone there in the best 70's outfits! The night will include interviews with some of the special guests, auctions and raffles. It promises to be a great night and a really good starter to Toranafest!!

For those that have made alternative accomodation arrangement, you can still be part of the BBQ on the Sat night.
All you need to do is to email me at [email protected] and I can fill you in on the details.

Just a reminder to you all staying at the motel, we have security on patrol for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

Just as improtant and probably just as fun is the Go-Karts on the Sat Arvo! If you are wanting to be part of the action, email Pete for details on [email protected]

We look forward to seeing you in Sept!!

cheers
Mick

Just remember if you enter on the day you will only receive a trophy and not a goody bag!

Just a reminder for all coming to Toranafest "PLEASE" check your steering knuckles. I have had the horrible experience in my LJ coupe of suddenly not being able to steer as the knuckle tore apart. Luckily I was doing a U turn when this happened.
I just replaced the knuckle on my 4 door LJ and it too was well over 40% torn.

Regards
Pete.

Well I had to check to see if it all would fit so all I have to do now is find space for me and a bag of clothes  AND possibly a passenger and his bag of clothes

AND yes, the back seat is folded down and all of that stuff goes right to the back of the front seats ;)

Hi all, just a request if I may. When filling out the entry forms could you please take care when filling out the e-mail field.
I am trying to respond to all that have entered but some are proving difficult to figure out.Posted Image
If you have not heard from me this could be why.

If you would like to check your entries e-mail me on [email protected]

As of tonight we have 88 pre- entered cars, this is more than double the entries for the corresponding time last year.Posted Image

Regards
Pete

The big ones are winning the count quite easily at the moment.
