Just came back from the South Coast Nationals. Although I didn't get to see it, they had this really neat 'Mens Pit Stop' display. Basically it was a team of Mens Health Specialists that did some basis tests and gave you an assessment. I was hoping to give it a burl, but alas, they were only there the one day that I wasn't!!! Worth having a look at for the Fest, as I would still like to give it a go?

Just a quick update, entrant numbers are at 215 and that has exceeded the Pre-entrant number from last year!!

Hi All

latest news from New'y...

Toranafest Entries... As at last night, 226! That means there is only 24 more goody bags left... Please remember, our limit on the day is 285.

I hope to have a link (via youtube) to the TV ad that will be played prior to Toranafest on One HD and Southern Cross Ten..
There are some easily recognisable cars in the ad and those people will owe us beers!! :rockon:

I will post more info as it come to hand..

There has been some questions raised with regards to the BBQ on Saturday night.
Just to clarify for all, for guests at the Motel the BBQ price is included in your accomodation cost.
For those NOT staying at the Motel the cost is $25/head and is payable on the night.
With this in mind we still need names of ALL attendees of the BBQ before the 13th of September.
This is vital for catering and seating etc.

This Includes Hunter Valley Torana Club members.

The cruise will start around 2:30 and return approx 5:00pm with the BBQ starting at 6:00pm and concluding (officially) at 11:00pm.
There may even be a couple of VIPs interested in catching a ride on the cruise! (settle down Barry)

Thanks to the three members that have already been in touch regarding the BBQ.

Hi all entries now stand at 235 only 15 more goody bags left.

I apologise that it's not in HD, but we are trying to get a HD copy to upload.

See if you can spot some cars (and owners) in the clip!!

I think missing last years event (well I was there, but the car wasnt) has really made me pull my finger out for this year

so... the missus comes up to me and says ,"when is this Toranafest thing on ??" ,"18th-19th of september" i replied. "do you know what day that is ?" she says. "err no" thinking we must have made plans to do something else that weekend :dontknow:

However being the awesome woman that she is , and she knows how desparate i am to go (even though my Torry is unable to attend :cry:

Gday mate. Have not got in contact with the hotel yet, i sent an email to Susan from the STC weeks ago asking for contact details for the hotel and any more info i can get to help me out but she has not got back yet, bit dissappointed in that....

For sure man. I am getting the numbers together for the QTCC and will add you to the list.

Bomber - I will send the contact number for the motel. BTW are you and cruisa joining us for the run down? We are meeting at Shell Mudgeeraba at 5:00am for a 5:30am depart on the Friday (17 Sept). If there are any other QLD'ers who want to join us you are more than welcome to.
