Dinky,

Sounds like an intreaging little combo.

what sort of car it is in?

your not located in qld any where u?

Cheers

G'day Drag, its an LC 4door,low bucks project, i'm in Melbourne, still got standard computer, ran that time twice @ Heathcte Oct 09, since then have added YT steel flywheel with bigger bolts & dowels, Rising rate fuel pressure regulator screwed up to 60psi, and working on a cold air induction setup. Hope to run a 13.9 @ 100 mph or better in the next few weeks. I admire all the stuff you are doing with your car, I think its gr8 ! Cheers

lots of people tell you what you cant do, it runs quite well with a big cam & standard computer, car is registered & driven most weekends. cheers

Its a Speco grind, the old number was 22CE, I've got the specs at work, I'll post them up, pretty sure its 270 @050, and it is a solid cam

Dinky, thats quite impressive mate! To use that cam with VK injection and standard computer is quite remarkable.

Any idea on power output?

thanks Mello, no idea on power output, still using standard injectors , needs a lot more development yet, tried some BA ford injectors, went harder in the top end but too rich down low, Bosch Jetronic injection is very simple, so you can get away with the cam as long as you set the idle @1000 to 1200 rpm
cheers
Chris

Just thought i would post instead of watching. Will be starting the new Torana in May, after Wal wrote the old one off at Willowbank.
New car, so it might as well have a new power plant.
ENGINE 202 blue
INDUCTION 1000hp Billett Turbo
EXHAUST 4 inch
CAM Probably Peter Watson
COMPRESSION 9.3
FUEL PUMP Aeromotive belt drive
HEAD Duggan
POWER ADDERS 35lb boost on Methonal
ECU Autronic
INJECTORS Moran
GEARBOX Dominator Powerglide
CONVERTOR Dominator
DRIVELINE Sheetmetal 9" Floater Hubs
SLICKS Hoosier

Pistons have finally arrived so I will make a decision on the cam in next 2 wks. I have all the rest of the gear.

I know it's not a holden anymore, but I still have the old engine If I break this one.Posted Image

What is it- 202 + .040 (by me)

Breathe in- 3 HS6 SUs (modified, fitted, tuned, by me) Jag HS8s in the wings.

Breathe out- PaceMaker (ported) into mandrel bent 2.5 by me (with racebox muffler).

Heartbeat- Wade 373 (not big enough!)

Blood pressure- 10.2

Up top- Modified (by me) YT and 1.6 Summit rollers, modified Bosch plugs (by me).

Go faster some more- More right boot! (by me only, no one drives my baby!)

How fast is it?- No idea, strip three hours away, but can still frighten me.

Rest of it- Supra W58, 3.55 Banjo (soon to be 3.45 BW) in HJ sedan.
