No pics from me, hope someone took some.
Dave, Darren, Evan and Matt were all there, great to see and hear Evan's car going hard.
Had a great time but we cut it short. Same issue, oil up the dipstick tube .
Good times though. Happy enough for first time back in the saddle since Targa last August.
Datto - need help mate.
Times anyway

Dropped in there today to price check
At $281 each they can keep them
Revolution has the Longacre ones but they want $260 for them and they are a cabin mounted pair

If your OK with that... we can get those for testing... and remove after use
Still need to fabricate some plumbing to test direct of master cylinders

main thing we finished the event in one piece, a few cars managed to spread themselves across the road, certainaly not good for them.
only tool we had to use was a 10mm spanner due to a very big bump dislodged my fan mount. the rear of the car had a couple of inches of air under the tyres at about 170kmh, little bit of a worry.
a couple of the stages were very rough and very slippery in areas which caused traction issues while accelerating in 3rd gear.
good mix of stages, tight and twisty, long and open.
the long and open stages we were sitting on speeds between 170 and 225 for good 3 or more minutes, i have this on in car vid.
car ran awesome couldnt be happier, drove at our own pace we wouldnt have been the fastest and def not the slowest.
Of course found couple of little things id like to change for the future, but that wont happen in a rush.
sunday town stage in pemberton, i was told by an official i was in contention for the biggest start line burnout, there was alot of noise, alot of limiter haha, some nice black lines and bit of smoke inside the cab for good measure.
soon after burnout gearbox was popping out on 2nd gear. with only few more stages to run, i was short shifting into 3rd, good thing about v8`s you can do this not loose too much time.
iv since stripped the gearbox, couple of hurt parts but weekend not totally to blame just the nail in the coffin.
the end of the day i would prefer to break gearbox than roll car.

Always a good weekend when you have no big issues with the car. Get the vids on youtube and post em up if you want. They would be great to see.
Mark. Gotta hate the travel some times. Especially when you dont have enough time to work on the car. I hope things pick up for you and you get the car sorted in time.
