To prove he is the biggest member (see what i did there?), he should post one with the carb the other way around.Wot's got the biggest d1ck on the forum when it comes to Holden 6 manifolds.
Don't encourage him...................He's just getting started.

but i found out some stuff when i was talking to a mate who works for ross pistons in LA, that the pistons that we brought of an internet auction site were actually not intended to be run with boost but they were labled as turbo pistons in auction so my advise to anyone looking at buying forgies from the auction web site is to ring piston manufacturer and get the run down on the actual pistons before buying them as we are now looking at getting diffrent piston pins for them.
i guess that is why u can buy the cheaper forged pistons where as the poroper ones made to suit your exact engine combo are more expensive.
anyway should get some more pics next week if all goes to plan.

If you have torque plate honed and/or line honed the block I would not fill it now. The grout will distort the block enough to render those machining operations inaccurate.

from what ive been told and did on ours the block should be filled between borring and honning so once i have the orings in it has to sit with the torque plate on and girdle on for some time before the bloke will grout it.
yeah it has been line borred aswell and flats on main caps for girdle aswell.

I'm glad you are torque plate honing it after the fill.
If I'm going to fill a block it is the first thing I do, after the initial hot tank.

to be honest im a bit gun shy on those pics incase that other bloke decides to have my pics removed again.
Grow up and post them here. Sonic has gotten over it and so should you. If I want to listen to little niggles from the past get brought up over and over again I'll talk to my missus.

I'd also like to see it as any development for the holden 6 is welcome from my end. No more s#$t slinging from me

Brett probably knows more about EFI than the rest of us put together; one day we may need his advice..
