Hi Black Dice, It's Toranas like yours mate is what it's all about for me. In my opinion there isn't a dollar wasted there mate. It's ABSOLUTELY WICKED.Reminds me of Jason Allen's Black A9X.

Thanks to everyone for the comments as it has made all the late nights and the highs and lows for the last four and half years all worth it , lxss51 I never thought my car would be motivation for others but than again I guess Jason Allen was thinking the same thing when he built his hatch, but that was the first poster to go up on my wall which gave me the inspiration to do what i did. The poster that you are talking about Paul I believe from memory was in a special edition posters from Street Machine which they released I think 4 to 5 years ago, I only came across it by accident . Well she's back down on the ground again the panel for the bonnet latch is all finished and bolted on, next thing is to pull off the front brakes and rotors as I'm not happy with the set-up and will be putting bigger rotors and calipers more for safety than looks .

damn that is by far one of the best hatches i have ever seen, its a credit to you and makes me want to paint mine black now

I Dont know what you do for a crust, But you must earn some serious coin in the time its taken you to build this car is unreal,
im 4 years into mine and still trying to get on the road again.
cant wait to see some rolling footage!
whats the main uses going to be for it? just a weekend cruiser/drags or show it.

Are you planing a public launch at a show or a low key meet & greet get together somewhere?
I only ask this because I, like so many, would like to meet the man & the machine.
Also would be good to get a few Toranas together. What do you reckon?

i like the bonnet strut, but why is it needed when you have still have springs on the hinges.
mine is currently a steel 3 iron which ive been meaning to replace...

I still don't understand why it needs a prop. Unless he has taken the springs out of the hinges? I haven't looked through the whole thread, so not sure.
I did an HQ years ago for a guy and I welded a sheet of 1.6mm uner the bonnet for a full smooth finish and the standard hinges had no problems with that.
OK, you got me, I'm just bitching because I don't have a sweet black hatch : (
