Hey guys,
Assuming we get the cars and this goes ahead, What Brackets do you want to run?
I had originally thought this was going to be part of the torana nationals drag thingo that was being discussed, but it looks like that's all gone a bit quiet!
I was thinking about just 1 or 2 simple brackets, but i'm a bit worried about what to choose and what everyone wants to do!
I dont know how many ladies are going to give it a go ( I know Simone is!!), but if there are af ew then a ladies bracket is always fun,
And the others that crosses my mind are either:
Standard and Modified ( 2 brackets) - but id say most cars will fall into the latter and how technical do we want to get?
OR
Non-Torana bracket and Torana bracket - this could be more fun!
Or... a bracket for cars running 11.99 and faster and then a bracket for cars running 12.0 and slower.
Over to you!
Oh.. and dont forget some payments!!
a List of 70 potential entrants is only at about 15 paid at the moment!! (with unclefesta to come.. he;'s been in contact with me!)

Dont froget the purple versus red race craig!
Im trying to sort out some semi slicks for the bum for the day, only problem I think is going to be the broken axles! the CIG locker might munch a few! whoops!
Wont be making use of the flares though, only going to have an 8" wheel at the most :(

But I reckon you have us power wise!
Looks like I just sold the 48mm dellortos off the purple car though, swapping to 45mm webers so we can just use all the jets/bleeds/emulsion tubes we already have to tune the frOcking thing!
But should still be a good day, will be my first time on the strip too!

looks like its my street tyres again , the rims with circuit tyres have too much inner offset . Was kinda hoping these tyres would be better than my streeters :(

Yeah id love to Rob but you know how the story goes, $550 light bill , rego on the calais yadda yadda , im thinking ill try buy them before next time and not leave it till the last minute , still have a fun day all the same 
cant wait . Hopefully pick up my new flares from the painters tomorrow and put them on , oh yeah thats another cost but trying to get her a little better for the fest

gee the qld torana drag day went like a dream!!! i cant believe there is a pinned thread on this topic aswell as 15 pages of questions and answers here on from what should i wear to what food i should eat on the day ?????hope it all works out well!!! QLD drag day was simple $50 turn up and race .........
