Ive also cleaned up the stereo wiring some more and wired in some of those while clip im connectors for easy removal of the amp, now i wont have to disconnect all the wires one at a time.
I want to take it down tge 1/8 mile strip at wilby park but dont wanna embarrass myself haha. So might wait a while yet

Emu im still in 2 minds whether or not to keep the rear spoiler.
I think at the track the 3.9 diff would help take off a bit quicker, i beat a vl at the lights yesterday in it

Quick question, when the uc hits 100+km/h it shakes around alot and worries me a fair bit. What could be causing this?
The front end has new bushes and ball joints, tie rod ends and so on. Good tyres and was alligned not long ago.
Anyone have any ideas?

Today i ran some new wiring from the head unit to power and the amp. I was lucky i did because while everything was apart i found that one of the channel box things for the front splits was melted. So either im running too much power into them through the amps or it was faulty from the factory while sucks because there only a few months old and cost $260. Very dissapointed.
I have also tried to dash mount the head unit above the ash tray bot found it fouls and has to sit about half an inch off the dash face.
As a result i will have to make a custon centre piece for the dash in the near future. I will also get rid of the ash tray and ciggie lighter as i dont smoke . I am happy with most of the wiring now which is a lot better than it used to be. I will also remove the front speakers until i can afford new ones. Wish i could post up pics but i only have access via a phone so wont be able to for a while

Rear speakers $90
Wiring kit $40
Clarion amp $250
Head unit and front 6 inch speakers $160
The splits that blew were $160
So $850 over the last 2 1/2 years isnt too bad haha
Rexy swapped me these wheels and tyres for some 14x10 hotwires that i wasnt goin to ever use. When these are due for new tyres i will go for smaller tyres. Maybe 205 60 all round or a bit smaller as the 204 60's currently on the front have desroyed the guards arches even after they were cut

Also the gearbox is getting replaced on monday. They are charging me $350 to fit it including the new gearbox and converter, which i think is a very good price.
And i might be picking up some 13" centreline armorlites for it soon. Will be a while until i get tyres though.

215s on the front on mine hit a fair bit and cut the tyre, drop your size back to 195 and you wont have a prob. Must have a differnt offset on the back as my mate had 235/60s on the back and they cleared fine with a bit of work.
