Good call Mick and I'm with you Heath.
IMHO there is too much bagging of the young, inexperianced members on this forum.
They should be advised and nurtured and if they make mistakes, they'll learn from it.
If they don't take you're advise, get over it!
Just like you would with your own.

I'm curious about this gas you keep mentioning
Why do you want to gas it ?
I once figured out that once you pay for the gas setup , accept the loss in power , realise that you get worse economy on gas ,modify the engine to run on it properly , deal with the fact it runs on gas or petrol... rarely both , see the increase in gas prices lately
I realised that I could put at least 1000 litres of good drop in the car
I would have thought an old red 6 would have been economical enough

So just curious as to the thinking here ?
Is it because you plan on driving it a million miles a week once you get your licence ?

Oh, if you were going to put it on gas, you should have bought Maddy's UC... It was Cheaper, got A/C, Got a Gas System, its not a Sunbird, got SLE wheels, got original paint, no rust etc etc.. perfect daily.. Oh well... You're young... you'll learn.

Yeah mate if you want a good gas system, don't go anywhere before you talk to me and some of my friends. I'm friends with a couple of installers and we can give you a good idea of who you should and shouldn't be going to :)

If you're gonna be at Knox tonight, call me on 0421 770 110, we'll catch up and have a chat about stuff if you want :)

get a bigger excess and the premium should drop a fair bit.

If you stack a torrie they would just about right it off anyway wouldn't they?

Fuel pump might be knackered?
Has the fuel gauge dropped?

Drop the oil and change the filter.
Leave a bucket under the sump plug over night and see if there is petrol in the bucket tomorrow.
