dad said there is alot of play in the steering what could be causing this?

most bushes and the balljoints have been replaced

could it be the steering knuckle or a problem with the rack?

recently the car has started squeeking in the front end and as my parents are driving the car daily (they stacked there car) we need it fixed
could it be that it just needs a grease?
also looking foward to meeting members at the VTC cruise as i should be there

As above. Sometimes you can grease the sides of bushes and it makes squeaks go away, but the shocks may have stuffed their seals or something and that will make them squeak. Probably some trash up against a bush making the noise

well we jacked the car up today and it turns out there was no grease in any of the boots so we
greased the front end . the lower ball joint boot is broken and the tie rod end is capped off on the
drivers side so we couldnt grease them.

took it for a drivebout 10 mins ago and the squeek seems to be gone :)
