I knew a guy in Canberra who owned a supposedly genuine silver L34, from memory he told me he paid $13,000 for it in 1992. He too drove it like he stole it & ended up losing it on a bend & sending it backwards hard into a tree. He sold it smashed for $7000 to someone who wanted to rebuild it but i don't know if they repaired it or re-shelled it. Anyone know of a silver L34 or if GMH even built one?
One sold new out of donald but later reshelled into an a9x valencia body.

do you know who owns this? and why does it not have flares ? and is or was it for sale ? cause this is the car ....

Rollo, I do not know anything about that car.
I got sent these photos a couple of years back- whether that shell in that pic ( or those parts/heads etc)is
the car I do not know, so I would not judge the car without seeing or speaking to the owner of it.
I do not know if this car is a Sebring orange car, as far as I knew there were only 2 left, the one
in QLD and the one in NSW. Thats as far as I know but some body else might clarify that.

Its not sebring but a saffron car it is now in hobart and a mate has it in his shed doing work on it at the moment.
Been sold a few times over the last few years by muscle car sales

If your mate is interested in it and its as you said advertised for $180k
why dont you just ring the owner and talk to them about it?
That way you will find out who the owner is.

this isnt the car thats advertised for $180,000 , we were told of this car and that it may come up for sale!!

hi outer control i have seen a sable metalic silver l34 which had an a9x body shell, the car was orange, the guy that owned it couldnt figure it out
i told him that the only way this could happen is that somebody must have reshelled it, it had a hot 308 engine in it but he told me that he had the original
hz engine at home, i still have all the details of all tags ph no etc, he was humming about selling it, at the time i was looking for a genuine l34 not a reshell,
i believe he works on the oil rigs

Id be chasing that one up Aldo as a lot of L34's were updated to A9X specs in group C races.
Maybe its an old race shell?

hi i never even thought about that, i thought the worst a re shell, he still owns it we spoke not 3 months ago i better get some more info on it,
the last owners etc etc
i nearly bought a salamanca red L34 6 months ago in melb, stripped down, the skirt had been restamped and the engine no had also been restamped
i took plenty of photos of that car chassis no, engine etc, the more i looked at it the more i ? marked it
