Is there any other difference between a UC cable clutch pedal and a rat trap LH style pedal besides the uc having the hook on the top and is it possible to modify the top of the LH one to enable a uc cable clutch setup?

cheers dennis

AFIK you can mod them, Toranamuk sells both the hook for the mod and the completed pedal, 6 and 8cyl.

This is the pedal i have i did some measuring and the hole in the bracket is just about the same position as the hook on a uc one so if cut and a slot for the cable in theory it should work right? its a m20 behind a red 6 in a uc

cheers dennis

Yes that is what I used to do.
Just remember the OEM cable does not take much abuse, any miss alignment or extra stress from differing leverage angles from OEM will end with snapping cable ends.
