hey here are some of my LX SL 1977 torana hatch
im third owner from new and the bloke i bought it off of had it
in his shed for 9 months and the wife said sell it!
then i came alone and paid $1500 for the old gem
that was back in 01 and its been in this condition ever since
with some rust spots which i will show with pics
basicly the dream is to build a street/strip/show car
it still has the dealer stamp under the bonnet(north city holden osbourne park)

You'd be better learning how to do it yourself than paying someone else to build it for you, looks like an awesome project! Wish I had a hatch :P

for $1500 i reckon got a deal there and i agree learn to do things your self the preparing anyway it will cost you less in the end and you will know how good of job is done as well , i completely stripped mine and then used 27 litres of paint stripper to get it completely down to a bare metal shell one bit of advice is take photos of everything wiring ,engine bay etc so when you put it back together you have a reference on how everything goes back together.

That's an awesome project starter there. I'm so jealous. Feel free to give it to me whenever you like : )

Make sure you post the build up.

Great buy and a nice hatch, well done. :spoton:

I agree with the other guys about 'having a go yourself'. Saves alot of money and very rewarding (best way to learn as well).

Enjoy the experience,

Mick.

The steering wheel is just an Autobarn job, if you want one, you could probably pick one up for $20-40 on eBay. But they are particularly 'canariable' so beware
