Yeah great to see some new pics of the glory days, geez that McLaren would've been a handfull in those conditions at Mt Fuji... Those blokes sure worked hard for their money...!

Sort of...I spoke to John for about an hour recently..Bev and I have done the 4 hour conversation until 3AM!!!...We have mutual friends..ex motorcycle racers..I managed a Car /Bike day thing at Surfers at the end of its life with Hansford, JH rode one of my Dunlop shod Yamaha FZ750s with Hansford, Jim Richards...the car drivers...and Magee, Dowson and Doohan were my bike riders..the cars were those Nissan ET Turbo things...Jim /Glen arranged them off memory...
Sort of a fun thing at lunch time where we all pissed ourselves laughing...Good memories..

I have only spoken to Bev a couple of times, lovely lady she tells a great yarn she told me some cracker stories and sent me the photos to go with them at the same time if it was a NZ race I had attended I was able to relate my side and send the odd photo video back

I would second Rorym's attitude, people private life is just that private, perhaps however if you ask real nice he might forward on a request on your behalf to make contact. and then it would be up to the Harveys if they want to make contact. In any case I believe it is important to respect people right to privacy and courtesy.

My suggestion would be to write a very brief email to the Harvey's outlining why you like to talk to them and what you would expect from them, and maybe why it would be worth their time and effort. Then forward that on to Rorym with a promise to name your first born after him if he would forward it on to the Harveys
