I've never been one to "mask" a problem so this is the next step into the unknown. I don't quite have it "pegged" yet but I can see a pattern forming? :dontknow:

Getting there slowly on this pattern. I'm hanging to finish it and get going on making a steel one and welding it in!

You might notice that the pattern had swapped from left to right a couple of times? I'm trying to make it suit both sides.

Scans...………..dunno what the reproduction ratio will be like though so go by the measurements and adjust? Also, look at earlier pics for fold info.

If you can transfer the images on to a piece of card like what comes in a shirt box, you can then create a pattern as I did.

Don't think I've ever owned a shirt that came in a box?

If I had the template in front of me to measure I'd happily draw it in CAD for you, even as a 3D sheet metal model. I could try to trace around the drawings above but it wouldn't be all that accurate (I'm kind of a 'millimeter-perfect' type when it comes to CAD work).

Even the aluminium one wasn't 100%. You can see in the pic: +3 which means add 3mm to that area then trim back as required. The cardboard scan above adds more to the shape as it is a tracing. Better too much than not enough? It's a pretty odd shape and hard to replicate at home.

Didn't you mum ever send you to Sunday school with a new shirt fresh out of the box?

Mixed up some under car paint today using old paints from auctions and clearing sales. The oldest paint is 9 years old. Tried it on a test piece and it has dried, She'll be right! :spoton:

Plenum got a hit of the "RoDoMo" special "almost" Holden black and the "RoDoMo" plenum plug is ready to fit...………….once the paint dries.

I'm having a rethink on the lower "A" pillar repair. The curved/bulbous part of this is a mud/moisture trap. I'm thinking of making it square to the guard so it can be sealed?
