That tool and the dimensions of the super duper pin puller PART # damit-rob, should be added to the holden torana Lc and additional LJ addendum parts manual.
don't get confused with the PART # damit- rob-1 - it does different things, that's the upside down CRC and WD spay can manual accessory for left and right doors !

Spent a couple of hours on this today. Got the fuel tank out, tow bar off, tail lights out, rear bar off and cut the hinge off the front door dammit!
Went inside and reported my achievements to my partner.
Her reply?
"Before you know it, it'll be a flat pack"
Good work Rob, if i think i have done something good in the shed on the cars i go and talk to the dog now, the family give me that i don't give a rats arse look, LOL

I'm beginning to wish Brock had of won his 1st Bathurst in a Monaro? Would have made things a whole lot eaisier in the bolt off/on department.
I've drilled out way over 100 spot welds and the guards still aren't off.

50 spot welds along the top of the guard between the windscreen and the front panel on the drivers side. The passenger side had 40.
My VY has 5 bolts including the 2 for the bonnet strut.

Does seem like overkill, would have thought probably 10 per guard would have been enough
Once those spot welders were going there was no stopping them, LOL i know if i was in the holden plant i would of been going hell for leather LOL

Would it be fair to say that the LC/LJ was a bigger rust trap than a HD?
Would it also be fair to say that the guard flutes are useless?
Did the Dealer Team remove the screw on panel on the inner guard to justify the flutes?
I am deleting the inner guard panels/shields for all the above reasons.

I have the flute implants, I'm sure I can fit them to the left hand side ok but not sure about the drivers side yet. (tap tap knocky knocky tap tap)
