If anyone can get details on exactly what needs to get done to fit the head it might become a common mod.

Its made by BOB KROGDAHILL previously from townsville now lives in
Mackay Qld . this fella makes it from scratch. twin over head cams, twin plugs for ech cylinder ,alloy cross flow
price fitted $5000 well that was the price 5 years ago, his Lc runs 10s try 400hp alcohol with webbers at fly wheel and will make more.
do u have any information on the alcohol with webers, my dad attempted it but couldnt find big enough jets (285's i think he was looking for, or something like that) and couldnt get big enough accelerator pumps. heard good and bad things about those heads.
Is this Naturally Aspirated your talking about? 10 sec quarters and 400 fwhp doesnt sound right wouldve had to be a torque monster or very light car. pretty sure the heads were a copy (with improvements made) of the Six cylinder dohc jag engine.
Now who's brave enough to inflate their HP figures!
Cheers Greg..
Do u have any idea how much fwhp, 240 rwhp with a 9 inch would be??
60hp gain @ the flywheel? My mate with the injected Honda headed 202 just picked up 60hp (at 700rpm earlier) by changing to a roller from a very big solid grind cam.
thanks, hopefully i make sense.

400 hp in a 2200 pound car should be knocking right on the door of a high 10, im sure you could get a LC down to 1000kg without too much trouble

Hi all and to 8 litre, Im the guy that built and tuned that 7.708 JZ engine. Interesting that after nearly 6yrs you guys are still reffering to it.That 7.7 second capability no doubt included a lot of other bullet proof (= $$'s) hardware so any comparison would need to be apples-to-apples. Bolting any head on a 202 isnt going give 7.7 seconds.
The Honda head conversion has proved to be reliable and low maintenance over more than 7.7 seconds......
The sports sedan running this combo can be seen at Sandown next weekend.
They will be in garage 27 and its races are at 10.00am and 2.00pm on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
There will also be a detailed article soon in Racer Australia magazine.
JZ heads arent just the head, you get a completed cylinder head, the cover, exhaust plates and a whole lot of advice.
Roller cams and lifters are availible from Joe (JZ) he keeps stock of lots of that stuff.
And to note the N/A JZ headed 202 in Joe's rail has gone 9.015 @ 145mph which is under the current B/MD national record, and I just bolted a new combination together some weeks ago over in Joe's garage (Lol a great Zappa album) so soon to be sorted and hopefully quicker.
