Brought an ebay radiator and made up a fan shroud for some 10" fans. Also fitted some VS commodore front seats and modified the gear stick on the supra to look like an aussie 4 speed.

Great stuff as always mate, lookin good! With those wheels, can any tyre/mag shop do that? Also I've read somewhere else here that you can get the 14" GTS rims re-hooped(?) to 15" & I'd be keen on that but wouldn't know if thats costly or where to get it done (being in NZ may not help lol). Cheers

Haven't been to motivated but have rebuilt the front end, all new bushes and ball joints. The front brakes are HQ discs and a mix of HX PBR and LX PBR calipers also rebuilt.

Had to lip the upper control arm to clear the caliper same as what i done to my hatch front end.

Posted Image

Motor and gearbox also ready to go. Now need to find some more motivation to start the body work.

Hey mate..me again!.. when you rebuilt your front end with the HQ discs (& I'm guessing the HQ stubs) what steering arms did you go with? The consensus is to use Harrop but just interested in what you used mate.
Cheers, Jason

Hi Jason, i'm using HQ stubs with UC steering arms and a LX rack. It's almost the same set up as my hatch but that has a UC rack.

I can say my hatch drives fine with this set up, harrop arms are the ideal but finding someone who can do a wheel alignment to suit

the car and not just set to factor specs is a better way of spending money. If your car is to low and tyres to wide steering arms will not

fix steering problems.

Not on the road yet, i've been doing some work on my hatch, ran 11.6 at Heathcote the other week.

I got a few more small jobs done but the main thing i need to do is repair, prime and paint all the doors, bonnet, boot and guards then just put it together.
