Came out pretty good i think.
My block and heads also came back from the machine shop so that's my next project. Engine building!
All of the other engine parts i need are here as well so i can get into it whenever i want.

Meanwhile i started to asemble my engine today, got the crank and pistons in, it was a pretty good afternoon.
Also had a box of goodies arrive from rare spares as well.

What are the specs on it? I notice you said it was from COME, what Cam have to stuck in it? What Comp are you running?

Also powdercoated the valve covers. Here is one stripped and another with powder applied.
And the finished product after 25 minutes in the oven.

Cam is a crow hydraulic. From memory lift is about 496 and duration about 286.
Comp should be about 9.7 according to COME.

Dad likes to wet rub the hi-build within 24 hours as it has a tendency to go as hard as concrete if you leave it too long and takes an eternety to rub back.
This afternoon we rubbed the areas we undercoated in the morning.
Hopefully some more tomorrow.

I've been busy powdercoating numerous bits and pieces.
Dad has the car almost finished with hi-build primer and rubbed back. Only the roof and rear panel to go.
I have the paint here so if he doesn't go away over the easter break we will hopefully have it painted by Monday.
Among numerous fiddly bits i have done i have prepped the fuel tank. I treated the inside with KBS fuel tank sealer, soldered some AN fittings on where required and painted the outside.
And finally my door trims arrived from Cools today, excellent job, couldn't be happier with them.
Hopefully i will have a colour update by the end of the long weekend.
