lol Patch don't think he'll be in a huge rush to line up another one to do... EH should be next in line being as it got bumped by the hatch
Cheers James he's certainly improved her from what she was... There was a bit of a joke made that he's replaced that much on her that he has all but produced a replacement shell... she shouldn't have any rust issues again for a very long time now
All going to plan should have some pics on the weekend of the next step....

most current pic doesn't look noticeably different to above but if you look really closely bonnet now lines up with top of guards instead of sticking up badly like it was ^^, nose cone has had it's ding removed and bit more tweaking went on there getting guards nicely lined up, rear hatch fits again (phew - a lot of repairing went on round there couldn't help but wonder if it was going to want to fit still lol)
been more done since then but I've not been in for a look for a bit
we did hit a snag along the way the really good doors we brought that had already been reskun and were going to save some work well...
drivers side beautiful...
passenger side...
not so beautiful... once it was actually on turned out had been folded short when they reskun it... so ended up repairing the rust in the one that came on her after all - new skins are tad exy so cheaper & easier to sacrifice a 4 door door to scrounge some repair sections out of (came off one that a woman had taken to with an axe! I'm betting she had something pissed her right off) It was done and taken back in before I could grab pics but problem fixed

They have both been being pretty picky about trying to line things up as much as possible and I'm really happy with how they are getting it because as we all know these old girls don't like to just sit nicely into place at the best of time throw in a lot of the spots the rust had to be repaired in could of easily put things out of whack more but the guy that her entrusted to him for this next stage knows how much work went into the rust repair and how fussy he was being with it and he is being even more fussy with his work (Ford to the bone guy and all)
Drivers side one just sat in so nicely I walked in and saw it went nice then he took me round the other side Pic of the passenger side door makes it look better than it was though I could run my finger full length of the gap and not brush metal at all and you can't make it out there but top edge was also folded too tight so it sat lower than the guard... bloody shame really all the frame of it is solid as... no idea what we are going to do with it too good to go to waste or to cut up but not much good to anyone as it is

she grew a growth of her this morning...
cause what goes up must come down...
don't know if this look for wheels will take off...
and the passenger side door now the gap issue has been rectified...
only smoothing left to be done now is a couple of spots that were rust repaired = a little inside passenger side door and some around the rear hatch
Hopefully won't be a whole heap longer before I get to see some colour on her and all the bits were picked up this week to rebuild the front end ready to get her back on some real wheels
