Hi Everyone,

With such a massive interest in the day, I wanted to be sure everything was going to be alright for our day, and now it has come time to make some moves into finalising payments for the day!

I have summarised the information contained in the other thread here so everyone can easily find it here.

Please continue talking about the day in the other thread, Important questions can be posted here but "chatter" will be moved to the other thread.


So here goes!

Date: 10th July 2010

Location: WSID Sydney Dragway - Ferrers Road Eastern Creek - WSID Directions and Info I will confirm which gate to enter via when I get this info from WSID.

Time: Gates Open 08:00 For Scrutineering from 08:00-10:00 - Lunch from 13:00-13:30 and then DYO Bracket Racing till that's done and a return to Grudge Racing Until 16:00.

Cost:$245 to enter your car to race with 1 driver, And additional $50 to PRE NOMINATE a Second Driver. (SO total cost for 2 drivers $295).
This cost Covers:
Entry for the driver, 5 passes for Spectators, and a car pass for a tender vehicle.
Still Photography by professional Motor Sport Photographers- DVD of your images sent to all entrants
Videography of the day - Edited video sent to all entrants on DVD
Small trophies for the Bracket Winner/s.
All remaining money will be donated to GMH-Torana.com.au Forum for hosting/running costs.

IMPORTANT INFO:
All Monies paid are NON-REFUNDABLE. WSID requires payment 2 weeks prior to the event in full and no refunds are available if you do not show. Unfortunately this counts even if your car is broken or does not make it. (You are welcome, If entered, to bring any car that conforms to the rules).

-I Will require payment NO LATER THAN 25th June 2010.

-Spectators are allowed but will be required to contact a Racer/Entrant to gain Spectator Passes(and be escorted through the gate by someone from inside the event) This is to Maintain security of our cars and equipment inside the venue as much as possible.

-Car parking for spectators/racers/pit crew is available in the pit paddock area.


Important Racer Info: Please Download and read the attached file at the end of this post. It contains important information on the rules and running of the day including:
ET Cut Offs: (No Cars Quicker than 11.00 seconds will be allowed to run. If you run faster you will be warned, and removed from the day with NO REFUND.)
HELMET Requirements: You MUST please read the helmet requirements as this has CHANGED. Please ensure your helmet meets the required AS/NZS Standards.
I Will be discussing and asking for DYO Bracket entrants, I will post the bracket info prior to the day so that we can choose the bracket/s you wish to race in

Ok Guys,
Firstly thank you to everyone who has paid, and who has gone out of their way to get their mates chased up... I Really appreciate your support!

There is getting to be very little time left!
We've got just a couple of weeks left before i have to pay and we need a minimum of 40 cars or this wont go ahead!!
Bear in mind we had a list of 70 cars before we did this, and photography and videography was calculated on almost the full 70 cars!!

Let's make this day as good as the last one, and make sure we get the payments in!
