You mean high beam dipper on the blinker stalk?
The dimmer is on the dash headlight switch, the dash lights dim when you dial it anti-clockwise.

The vin disc shows mine with a prod date of 12/69 but an adr plate with 1/70. Does that make it a 69 or a 70 car??

8/72 Salamanca red gtr xu1. Factory houndstooth., Door pull handles, twin mirrors, 3.5 diff ratio, no radio, wide sprintys.

4/72 Lj 2 door (unmodified) -Balmoral Green
7/72 Lj 2 door (with a couple of extra cylinders) -Nutmeg Metallic.
Funnily enough they both left the factory as 138 3 speeds lol

5/75 Devaulle blue LH SLR5000
Close but not sisterly enough.
Mine is 7/75 Deauville Blue LH SLR 4.2L.
In fact it was 14/7/1975 according to the date handwritten on the unpainted
radiator support panel along with body number.
