After much consideration I have decided to put my beloved 73 Bathurst xu-1 on the market.

I am toying with the idea of placing an add on either carsales.com or carpoint.com.
Has anyone had any good/bad stories on either. They both appear the same to me.

And No I dont want to go on E-Bay nor do I want a Shannons type auction.

Any imput (of a sensible nature ) appreciated.

thanks,

scooter aka Peter

Get in contact with Chris Bowden and see if he can move it on for you.

Or try Australian Muscle Car sales.

Selling cars at this high end is about having the right contacts and both these suggestions can offer this.

Ive heard some nast things about muscle car sales lately, Id think a word of mouth type sale is going to be your best bet.

or just list a price !!! I reckon around $100k would be very good money in today's market.. If you want $150k you will keep it.....

Hey!!!

I've been trying everywhere including eBay for a genuine SL/R 5000 with no luck... I think the people listing these things on eBay aren't much better, you agree on something and then you never hear of from them again no matter how much you ring or email...grrrr

But all jokes aside, agreed, most eBayers are tossers.... :iagree:

Cheers

Carsales seems to have the most listings for Torana's that I've seen..pity that most of the cars listed are in the "tell him he's dreaming" range. Sometimes a reasonably priced car pops up on there though.
