I had a little chuckle when the commentator said..."Not bad for a #2 driver!" lol
We should be thanking Vettel for the gap he left when the pace car exited.

I went to sleep but it was because the radio was broken.
Mark shouldn't have gone so far ahead
I didn't see the lights on the safety car go out
I was waiting for direction from the team.
Seb from here on in will now be know as TReNT. (The REal Number Two)
That was not clearly not the behaviour you would expect from your number 1.

Yeah i loved how he said it was marks fault he shouldn't of gone so far ahead... Blames everyone but himself.
The funniest part of ALL of this is that apparently that rule was only put in place after TReNT ran up the back of Webber a few years ago when Webber was in second and pushing for his first win.
So, he can't say he didn't know about the rule.
I used to like him but now he is showing his true colours.

What a great race on Sunday, some exciting strategic racing, I was hooked for the whole race which is pretty rare these days. Top drive by Webber, and well backed and supported by his team. I thought Webber had fallen away a little bit over the last few rounds, after a sensational start to the season, but this round has put him smack bang in the mix again. If he's ever going to have a chance at winning the championship, this is it. Not going to be easy, but damn I'll be cheering him on. Lots of nerve racking, edge of the seat races coming up I think.

Someone asked him on Friday if he had a birthday present for Mark and he said no cause he didn't know it was his birthday.
I reckon it was a lovely gift he provided on Sunday, if only he'd stuck around long enough to take out the other McLaren too.

Vettels Spa disaster explained
Concerned that their Number One driver, Sebastian Vettel, had such a shocking race at the Belgium Grand Prix, Red Bull staff decided to run a series of tests, on both driver and car and have found what they think may be the problem.
Team analyst, Dr Wolfgang von Knacks, told Grand Prix Diary today that after extensive examinations, he had discovered that under excessive braking, as experienced at circuits such as Spa and Istanbul, that Vettels brain was flexing more than usual and was switching itself off.
Dr von Knacks explained, Under race conditions Vettels noggin is flexing more than the allowed amount and to avoid a total meltdown the brain goes into safe mode for a few seconds which is when he is liable to smack into whichever poor sod he happens to be next to at the time.
Red Bulls technical guru, Adrian Newey, has promised to upgrade Vettels brain in time for the Italian Grand Prix in two weeks time.

The big threat was that Lewis would get a gap on him by winning but after the first lap it was all about how far Webber can get in front.
Fingers crossed! It would be a real up yours to all the doubters over the years!

What do you think Potta?

However, all of the cars are constantly developing so you never really know what might happen.
Next race is Singapore where Mark crashed out last year after his brakes failed. IE got too hot.
This years car is supposed to have had that problem resolved, but TReNT went out with brake failure in Melbourne so only time will tell.
Japan, Brazil, Abu Dhabi are all pretty good for the Red Bulls I think. Mark won in Brazil and came second in Abu Dhabi. He came 17th in Japan but TReNT won so it probably wasn't anything to do with the design of the car.
Korea is an unknown but looking at the track layout it looks similar to a lot of the new ones which the Red Bulls are built for.

If Mark can win the other 4 it won't matter anyway.

Still a real shame that Alonso has taken the lead. Webber seems to have lost his winning form lately, he's just not quite there at the moment. Next round is make or break. Either way, all the signs are there to say the championship will be decided in the last round. Nervous times ahead, I can't bare to watch!!
