Got 2 bonnets mate i like the filter poking through but i dont think mr plod will :blink2:

Really changes the look of the car a lot! FR17s with dish always look the goods haha

I figured that was the reason, but just wanted to make sure you still had the option of running it sans scoop.

must have been a weekend for wheels. I dragged my ROH 16s out on the weekend, getting the tyres stripped this week so I can fit my new outers!

those 17s dont really look that big on your LJ though hey, still has a nice look without being too over the top.

hey lee you buy another car looks totaly different to me cheers lee love it. only problem is i wouldn,t know which way to go on the look anyway is stilllookin awesome cheers

Love your car Lee, you've done a top job building it up. Call me old school, but i like it more with the Welds & filter out the bonnet, but that's just me. Gives it that tough street strip look. In any style, the whole car is a credit to you & looks tough as & i bet it goes to match the look. I've read your thread & the quality of work is very impressive & inspiring for me to finish off my SLR. Can't wait to see it in the flesh, maybe sometime next year when i bring the SLR out for some quarter mile action. I reckon it'd look awesome, a silver GTR & a silver SLR running side by side down the quarter.

Thanks for comments guys i think the simmons are a lovem or hate them thing but the photos really dont do them justice looks heaps better up close

Anyway finally got back to wsid ran 12.3 120mph first up with a heap of wheelspin let some air out and went 11.5 122mph then 4 runs 11.3 123mph then 11.2 124mph 60ft time are bad at 1.7 need to work on that im thinking the rear end needs some tuning but im close to my goal of a 10 second pass

11.3 on your first real night out racing.. and i'm sure the air temps werent what they could have been...
Youve got 10s in the bag! I reckon you'll seriously be knocking on the door of the 9s with a bit of fine tuning!!

Mate i 1st saw your car at the torana wsid day...1 OF THE BEST LJ'S EVER.. WELL DONE!!

(personally i like the chrome wheels over the simmons...but fk regardless its just HOT!)

Lee, Iv said it before and ill say it again, It is probably my favourite little torana! Wheels look awesome on it!

I showed Dad the picture with the new wheels, and he loved them! He said it would be good to catch up again sometime soon (maybe at WSID *hint hint*).
