Got my gts wheels sandblasted and painted a few months ago finally got around to get the tyres put on looks like a different car again

gts rims...looks old skool(just needs the bum dropped a bit IMHO)
weld rims & no scoop...gives it that nice drag look
simmons...looks more retrotech(love that look on your's the most lol)
As for my lc,I got most off it back together the way it used to be..injected 5l/getrag,taking the big brakes off,putting on 14in stocker rims & changing a few little things then take it back for engineering(fingers crossed they'll pass it).Need to find time to work on it.
Big stroker engine I'm still waiting on 12.5 comp,four bolt mains.950cfm AED carby,vn heads etc,4500rpm stally(actually needs a 5000-5500 stally),th350...borgwarner diff,4.11 gears...28x9 slicks all going into a gutted out silver vk commodore for now(couldn't find a reasonable lh/x to use).
Next time I'll come say hello for sure.

How come the big strokers not going in the LC ? sounds like a tuff combo

bit slow on progress lost my permanent job due to economy down turn so wage was cut in half. chipping away though man and i must say you have done a top job on your LJ its a cool car man nothing over done just pure muscle. hope mine is half as good when im finished

went to the full throttle friday last night was a good meet i managed to get 9 runs with the best of 11.20 123mph
and 7 runs 11.3 in a row very consistent still shitty 1.7 60ft
I think i got the front wheels up mumbo we have to wait for the pics

damn this is a hot car man all 3 sets of rims look good but my favourite would be the simmons i think. congrats on the time aswell

4000 convertor doesnt feel like there spinning but next time im going to mark the rim and tyre to see if the tyre is spinning on the rim

Theres something missing somewhere maybe timing .
What rpm can you get on the foot brake?
With mine i can get 5000rpm and it will flash to around 5500rpm

Mumbo on the brake i can hold it to 3-3500 before it pushs forward

Well guys i finally run my first 10.9 pass tonight im stoked
Worked out i wasnt getting full throttle so we adjusted it ran 11.00 straight up 1.6 60ft
Next pass 10.9 125mph
And then 10.9 125mph
Then got asked to leave politely i need a tech inspection
But im stoked

10.9 mate you should be proud as punch. It must be almost cool being asked to pack up your car cause its too quick.

Car is already caged i need to upgrade my licence and replace my 3 point harness with a 4 point mounted to the taxi bar quite easy really
Im still buzzing i know its only a number but it makes it all worth while
Will be back out next year to go quicker again
