Holley Throttle cable

Hi Guys,
I have the standard LX V8 throttle cable on the car for the Holley...as per the pic...it goes about 40mm past th base arm where the ball bolts into...any ideas how to hook this up?.is there a small arm extension or something?

I think I need the throttle cable holder like this one on RRS L34.

maybe modify that one or ive seen the chrome brackets at the shops that mount the cable from the back and bolt onto to the corner stud of the holley base

This was how the linkage was on my old engine, you are quite welcome to the bracket if you think it will make a difference.
If you cant see the linkage clear enough, PM me your email addy and i'll send the photos to you and you could zoom in on them.

Sorted...found another bracket..all good...just need the small ball thing and it is done.

The spring should be pulling in the opposite plane to the cable to prevent excess load and wear to the throttle shaft bush.
