well its a better door we replaced that corner so now it only has 1 hole with that not even a 5c piece could fit in... and i only payed $15 for it

woohoo it was a steal... found that this door lined up alot more easier too

There aint nothing wrong with that door for a base to work off, i'm fixing a rustier donor door for the sedan. But i suppose mines not being repaired by Josh.

That Hilux looks exactly like a basher car my brother in law sold a while back?

Car wasnt masked proiperly and its all over the rubbers? gay tan interior?

Did it have/still have a 253 in it?

nah wasnt a basher an older fella owned it was painted blue when he first bought it and no gay tan interior had a blue interior too
he bought it to rebuild into something more but decided to turn it into a rock crawler thing...

got my credit card payed today and i bought some new extractors and water pump for the ute

the speedo conversion is looking like i may have to adapt an electronic one into the dash i spoke to mick at aisat instruments he reckons that he can place a digital electronic speedo into were my existing one goes for $200 -$250 so should i just do that or use my navman lol??

As requested, some progress pictures

door all aligned up,

just rio filled the mirror holes and trim holes,

alot less bog in the rear quarter now the quarter actually has a shape

big thanks to my uncle jay who did that, the best bloke out

will be hitting it with primer tomorrow and put all main components in ie glass than paint the inners on the weekend

either that door needs to be raised an inch or your uncle got the body line on the 1/4 wrong
as i got it to line up with the old door

the door needs to be lifted a tad just looked at it then, but its got alot less bog in it now the metal was shaped it took about a weekend in total to get the metal basically straight, and chasing bog everywhere, it was a nightmare of a job, wasn't too sure were the bog was gonna stop but im glad it stopped were it did

on the photo the line looks really bad but in person its a tad out...

and if your gonna post hateful or disrespectful comments go elsewhere coz i've had it with frOckhead's

Think you're being a tad sensitive this time mate.

From the pic, it is clear there is an issue with alignment.

Better that people point it now rather than after you've painted the thing don't you think?
