Im glad you got it sorted josh at least you have listened to andy he is a smart man if you seen some of his work on his torana you will find a lot of home made parts from billet alloy not push bike parts
as for you chris im not getting into a shit fight over a stupid bike cable
some of you young guys might and i say might grow up one day if you cant handle a bit of criticism you should stfu.
over it.

You didnt provide a single.reason as to why it would be ill advised to.run a bike cable, and no, my mates mate told me.its a bad idea isnt valid

Id much rather a brand new multi strand cable than an unknown, cutoff cable with ends put on it regardless of who does the work.

Andys car is a great piece of engineering, but for most of us, the level of engineering and costs associated are beyond our budgets. The whole car modifying scene is.built.on ingenuity and using whats available to make things work yourself within your means.

If I never mentioned my cable was a bike cable, mo one would pick it and theyd all think id payed five times the price....

As for the growing up comment, pot... Kettle much?

You resorted to the circus and clowns comment ;) showing some awesome maturity and wisdom right there....

also sent my engineer papers off today, looks like the chassis mod should pass, as its only a subframe on the actual cab, as long as the actual bolt on chassis is not touched i should be alright to pass

Whats with all the action ???

Have you had a spiritual awakening, or is because Oparah has now finished that you have more time on your hands ?

Keep up the good work.

well not a very productive weekend, just painted the inner guards heater box and fan motor, lifted the motor in the air and degreased it,
and made the cardboard templates into metal, just need to weld them.

my heaterbox came out shit, whats the best way to paint it, i rubbed it back with 120 and then 400 and then plastic primed it and it came out lumpy like shit just using normal 2-pac like i had done the inner guards with
and also whats the best paint to use to paint the engine and accesorys? VHT heat proof paint?

what do you mean "lumpy like shit"
a pic tells a thousand words mate
it may have "fried" you using acyrlic primer under 2 pac?
you remove the prepsol before painting?
you clean everthing before you primed?

and engine enamel/heat proof paint will be fine

You will not be able to register or insure the car with stud adaptors. You could end up owing a million dollars.

Super cheap and easy to change stud pattern the right way Josh

+

My bro used the hub adaptors years back and pursuit rims rubbed on the rear with 225's... SS/HSV rims had no chance on the front.

Just a heads up
