the bay looks good, just need to paint the covers and hide the wiring a little bit and she'll be nice

got a little bit of a surprise that'll sit on the manifold later on next year

Posted Image
Posted Image

went to the trimmers too and he's progressed on the other seat
reason why the side's had collapsed just a bit of glue to fix it
Posted Image
Posted Image

the tear in the side
Posted Image

he's also fixing the stitching and he's going to recondition the leather as it's gone all hard from sun, sweat so-on car will be on the tilt tray next friday to the trimmers to have the carpet and seats put back in

then off to the exhaust shop for the paceys and twin 21/2 inch system :) should sound beefy especially once the cam's in.

ute hasn't even exceeded much more than what i payed for it 98% of the work has been done by me... and when it comes to resale value what it owes i can easily sell it for plus make some profit... so yeah.

toranas getting love my threads currently under reno's coz of dickheads constantly commenting in it, and i didnt want it to be completely removed. as it has a lot of history from 07 when i bought it, anyway timing covers are Daisy Chains and removing harmonic balancers are just as bad, i remember why i stopped my apprenticeship now lol

A hot tip to clean up those shitty looking headlight surrounds, scotchbrite them in warm soapy water and paint them with VHT chromepaint out of a rattle can.

It looks nothing at all like chrome, but looks very close to silver anodising.

Try it on an old shitter first to determine if you like the finish.

I did it out of desperation on some parts of mine, and was so pleasantly surprised by the result that I will use the method again.
