anyway the ute was smashed out today
got all the rubbers fitted up and aligned all the body, most of it is good except the front hand drivers guard which sticks out a little bit

im going to respray the light buckets silver with a black lip
new door seals, bailey channels and window clips

have to slam the door now lol
got the door trims fitted up, i know there is a chev badge on there but hey they look good though

hooked all the handles up and so on...

and also fitted some more stuff to the dash...

that VN commodore centre console is going to be modded fibreglassed and fitted later on, more on that alot later
and just coz these wheels are frOcking awesome

and i also dug out this for my uncles HZ ute.

first time its seen sun in a while too...

the bay looks good, just need to paint the covers and hide the wiring a little bit and she'll be nice
got a little bit of a surprise that'll sit on the manifold later on next year

went to the trimmers too and he's progressed on the other seat
reason why the side's had collapsed just a bit of glue to fix it

the tear in the side

he's also fixing the stitching and he's going to recondition the leather as it's gone all hard from sun, sweat so-on car will be on the tilt tray next friday to the trimmers to have the carpet and seats put back in
then off to the exhaust shop for the paceys and twin 21/2 inch system

It looks nothing at all like chrome, but looks very close to silver anodising.
Try it on an old shitter first to determine if you like the finish.
I did it out of desperation on some parts of mine, and was so pleasantly surprised by the result that I will use the method again.
