yes there is as we speak, got it running again after a full re-wire and a few sensors changed, it ran then span the belt, and it appears i did not put sufficient goop on my timing cover so i gotta do it again :( it moved under its own power too, but now the clutch pedal seems to have gone really soft again i think it might be airlocked.

anyway heres the video

Did you use a Commodore top radiator hose? It looks like is has a kink in it at the bend like mine did. I replaced it with a HQ-HZ V8 bottom hose that i removed the spring from inside & cut down to suit. No more kink.

This must be doing your head in Joshy.

Keep going, you're nearly there.

I agree with that radiator hose too. You may be able to shorten it to get a bit better flow.

Almost there mate! Keep going.

Re the vid, is it normal for it to idle at 4000 RPM?

Congrat's Josh on getting the ute running, sounds great. :spoton:

You're done heaps more on your ute than many forum members have done on their torana's.

Keep going mate.

Cheers Mick.

Yeah keep at it, your build thread has had more views & posts than all three of my Torana builds put together. I guess the vast majority are more interested in your project than they let on.

hahahaha it'll be a sad moment when this is sold... this is being sold to fund the paint job and the driveline in the beast. sadly i have not much progress on my torana. its gone from my house to one of my family members houses as he is spraying it.

i found a GTS dash and will purchase it

Cool. You've already shown that you're motivated & even if you learn the hard way with some things, you keep plugging away which says alot too. Good luck with it all.

you're selling the car yet still paying crazy prices like that for parts? ....

i agree joshua
so you have to ask....is it going to add 1k value to the car? will it really make the car a lot easier to sell?
dash pads can be had for under a hundy...i got mine for 70...with my hz stato dash...
sooo is it really worth the cash you just outlayed?

gees ffs your selling it josh...you've stated it a thousand times
finish it...put the for sale sign up and be done with it
don't spend any more than you have too...you'll just end up throwing it away...
mind you this advice will probably just go straight through to empty space....
