Oooookay. I don't know exactly what you have done.

Firstly, what is all rubbed back? It looks like a dirty old wrecked ute to me.
Secondly, who cares about a motor on the ground? BTW nobody cares how many times it's been on the ground......
Thirdly, what the frOck is that thing in the last pic?

All I can tell you've done is tack an odd shaped piece of metal on it somewhere WTF?
You are not trying hard enough and the stench of bullshit is overwhelming.

kush kush no-one cares...

people told me post pics of progress theres my pictures...

i can't win

first that thing on the last picture isnt even tacked it isnt even finished... its to box the chassis rail of as per engineers requirement some thing about the structural or some crap like that if its left as a cut hole they have a sad.

second dirty old ute??? no its not if you read properly the firewall, inner guards and chassis rails are rubbed back... i masked up tonight but it got to cold again to spray primer... maybe might be able to spray after work tomorrow

and stinga yes the engine bay, rails and inner guard will be sprayed...

i also sourced a new passenger door, so will pick that up this weekend and prep it up

all thats left to make this 100% legal

1. AISAT Speedo Conversion $320
2. Fit Tailshaft
3. Still waiting on clutch setup from mal woods automotive over east.
4. Fit new Radiator
5. Exhaust System
6. Re Trim Carpet, Door Trims, and Seats
7. Accekerator Cable

and get some decent wheels for her.

then i am never going to touch this ever again and im going to learn my lesson and not have 2 projects then only touch the torana

:)

so much for engine swap, so many people told me keep it a six and sell it otherwise one thing will lead to another.. well yes they were right it did...

Might I offer a suggestion

Keep rubbing... the whole car
Repaint a different colour
Don't tell anyone what colour
Don't readvertise it for sale here
Stick it on ebay
No-one will recognise it and you might actually sell it

Good to see you have realised the time and money wasted and also admitted you have not taken advice given
Get this thing sorted -- get rid of it -- get the shed cleaned out -- get a plan -- get back into the important stuff

Oh, and get the Torrie a new thread.

I can't believe you cut a big chunk out of the chassis like that and then in your for sale ad you say the car is engineered and driveable?? WTF??

Its getting hard to give you the benefit of the doubt mate.

I think you should listen to Datto or it will be in your shed forever.

its not part of the chassis that the car is bolted onto... FYI mate get your facts straight it was already cut for the T5 shifter from the previous owner...
the engineer has told me to box it in a way that will cover it...

so go and get your facts straight mate before you post dribble
