Ill definatly be racing when ever we go this time! Maddy's UC might be done by then as well! so we might have two racers!
Cohen, ill be keen to give your car a run, dont know how ill hold up when your car revs to 7000!!!! FARK i got no hope! (although as we thought its prob just my gearbox thats holding it back!)

Will look at the options once the engine is finished. Would have to get a skid lid as well I have a go go the quarter. Dont think kevlar would be acceptable

You'll need an overflow bottle no matter what.
Heathcote park is EXTREMELY concerned about fluid losses onto the racing surface and as such theyre concerned about overflows ( My BOG STOCK Au falcon had to have a second overflow installed on the overflow!! Thank god for coke bottles! LOL!)
The only other things theyre really strict on is stuff like throttle return springs, Neutral lockouts and the correct clothing. Long sleeves and enclosed shoes for everyone in the car. Theyre not usually TOO worried about tailshaft loops, unless its a really heavy hitter.
Cheers!

And they have to enforce things for the drivers safety as well, so you can't race with thongs and shorts and singlets, because 3rd degree burns don't exactly tickle.
The throttle return springs etc are also on the item list for your saftey, and others.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I also think that if your car starts doing 11's or better, they'll want you to fit a rollcage. And if it's doing that and is launching really hard then tailshaft loops will be a concern.
You should be OK Liam, just fit a plastic bottle for the radiator overflow. Other than that they'll be happy with your car.

Cheers,
Rick.

Long clothes and helmet and all that are fair enough, just wondering if there was any little thing like the overflow bottle that would catch me out.
I thought it was tailshaft loop at 11.99 and rollcage at 10.99. I certainly won't be running either on the day. I have a tailshaft loop in any case.
Peace,

Tailshaft Loops are VERY advisable and alot of other tracks insist on them but flid loss is every tracks major concern.
OH.. and parachutes are needed for a pass >140Mph! (something to aim for

CHeers!
