Mick, have you done a 9928623 pre-pollution hose? I think you can actually guide it across the top of the manifold without the special bends, and still hook it up to the right places, which is probably why they stopped making them.
If all else fails, I will configure mine as per the pictured L34, which is semi-close sort of.

I can see why they've done it that way now. That heater hose stopped being produced by Rares in 2000!!!

Hi Pat
No I haven't done the hoses for the pre pollution set up yet. Once I get the pollution ones done, I will look at getting these ones done as well..

Do you have a list with photo's of all the products that you now make Mick, rather then going through ebay.

After Toranafest, I will have a complete list on here...
as well as a list of upcoming items..

^ Just having a look, the L34 picture is not correct, unless there is a difference in the heater hoses between the SL/R 5000 and the L34. You can see the heated manifold outlet blocked off. I am configuring mine as per the manual.
Digging up the past I know, but the L34s had the water heating of the inlet manifold deleted. The picture above is correct. I am also going to steal it for a thread on water pumps.

It would be good to get the right hoses for pre 27a also!

Very similar. No part number for it. The two water inlets on the manifold were blanked off with grommets, and the inlet hose to the cabin heater would have had its own part number as it was a totally different shape to anything else from Holden. Patience Brad. All will be revealed soon. (I'm tying in heater hoses with the water pump thread)

Im sure there would be a market for them. I guess the hard thing is finding a suitable sample to copy. My drivers side hose is original but my passenger side hose is a cut down version of a hose I found at SCA that provided pretty much the correct bends and turns. I think Mackay Rubber list the smaller one from thermostat to manifold anyways.

To answer your question from five years ago Brad, with the L34, both water inlets to the inlet manifold were blanked off. One heater hose went from the thermostat housing, around the drivers side of the carby, then under the coil and into the heater box. This hose I think would be unique in the Holden world. Maybe Bedford had the same?
The other hose went from the water pump, under the top radiator hose, under the coil and into the heater box. There were no hoses on the passenger side.
