Yeah mate placement for any badges would be awesome. Also I can't make out wat part of the car that is in the pic

Hi

These were posted by members LX304 and Finer70 a years ago.


Location of GTR & Torana badge as measured from an original boot lid.


GTR Badge on the right side of the boot. Two holes measured from right edge and lower lip of boot lid.

Measurements taken with a flexible tape along the surface of the boot.

Hole one = 128mm up from lip 85mm in from edge.

Hole two = 118mm up from lip 165mm in from edge.

The Torana script Badge goes on the left side of boot. There are three holes measured from the left edge and the lower lip of the boot lid.

Measurements taken as before.

Hole one = 77mm from the lip 130mm from the edge.

Hole two = 131mm from the lip 111mm from the edge.

Hole three = 185mm from the lip 111mm from the edge.

All holes 4mm dia.

I'm pretty sure they don't have GTR badges except on the steering wheel, door cards and grill.

 

They may have the boot one though. Not 100% sure.

All good Bazza, would just like a few more people to measure, as well as answer my question about the side strips going under the gtr badge. My gtr has no stripes as it got resprayed but I've found the original holes where they where. When I measure the badge on the sides they are the 2mm from the roll edge but are about 9 mm longer than the pic and the boot one is lower than the pic

Hi Bazza and Dattoman,

 

Would it be corrected to Doctor the Original Image URL, like the one below, so that the #4 in ( 145 ) be turned into a '0' Zero:-

 

Also, have a Caption under the Image, saying, 105 has been changed from 145

 

 

 

 

This is so that the size 105, will be the real size from now on, as it is an Average close enough Size. Dave I

 

would the Master Image URL be changed, so all the other Images would change as well automatically?

If not, we will need to seek out all the other ones and change them to the new Image URL, thank's in advance

Mine is about 145 if you measure around the curve and if you measure straight about 110. Do you think people are using different measurement techniques perhaps ?
