Well its been a while since i have updated here as i havent really done much except drive the wheels of it but over the last 2 weeks i have been doing some work around the house and each time i walk into the garage it seems like she's looking at me and saying "Have you forgotten me" so i thought i better do something to show her the love :)

Anyway although i have never been one to have a heap of gauges in the car i do realise there is some importance ;) mainly having temp and oil pressure was always a given and have been mounted on the side of my console since the engine was built over 10 years ago. The gauges were sport comp and have been pretty reliable but i mentioned one day i had seen the newer sport comp II version which are back lit and thought i may change them over eventually, since then i have been getting them for bdays , xmas etc but still havent installed them so i thought now might be the time.

Here is what they look like

This below is trial for now to see how it turns out but you will get the picture

Angled mounts

this will give you an idea of where im heading

Also i did start with a 2 gauge cluster but looked odd so 3 suits it better so im trying that out
Enough for today time to go for a drive :)

Good to hear you have been out in the car a fair bit!. Gauges looks tops mate, give this sparky stuff away and become an upholsterer, whole cars interior is one of my favorites!

It was just a trial i made up cause i got sick of the black interior i had , in the end it came out not too bad so i stuck with them. I covered a bit of it in the thread a few pages ago
