thanks for that craig love reading stuff on the v8 LC/LJ toranas just wish they went into production im one of the lucky ones here in s.a that have there car legal and driving mine is a real buzz and you can understand when the goverment said back in the early 70's they would be missiles and doing 160 mph they are so quick with the 308 in them and so much fun

TC engine prefix 308 with two barrell carby, haven't seen TC listed before and I knew two ballells came on 308 but didn't know what cars they were fitted to.

The guy that got that GTR Built,bought the 308 V8 from a Guy that had a 308 Holden Ute,who got the 308 pulled out,Due to putting a Chevy V8 in the Holden Ute,but he wanted the 4 Barrel rochester off the 308 to put on his new Chevy V8 for his Holden Ute,and the Guy with the GTR just used a 2 barrel Rochestor for the 308 in the GTR.

If you read that Story,the Wheels Magazine Editor says that Harry Firth has two V8 Torana's at HDT HQ,one his own and the other a Actual Engineering Prototype,and the Press is not allowed near them.
The Actual Engineering Prototype would be my Guess the Strike Me Pink one,that we know was at Harry's HDT HQ at some stage.
