Does anyone on here own a Royal Purple XU1 sales date 09/08/72. I have a copy of a photo of Holden Production Broadcast taken new, on the front windscreen - issue date 21/07/72. The photo of broadcast has chassis number and body number on it. My mate bought this car new, and obviously sold it.

Brisbane built car.
He sold it in the seventies down Sydney I think. Can find out more info.
Code on the paper is 768 not sure if thats dealer code.
Paper has body number & chassis number, but no VIN number just 82881J definitely has enough info to identify or match to the right car.

Have had information from a forum member, that the car I have the broadcast sheet on, has been sold within the last 4 years. The numbers that he gave me matched those on the sheet. So the car is probably still around.

Wow that would be cool to get if you owned the car.

There is also a pretty rare LJ 4dr on ebay atm - original colour Royal Purple with floor shift auto. See Item No: 260656710145
