I will post some pics this week some time, my torana is currently 300 ks away with a broken axle as soon as the new axle is ready and I get it home I will take some pics and post them.

Champion, thanks mate, hey Andy i read in one of the threads about stub axle and steering arm identification and i think you gave the info out. if so can you tell me what stubs and arms are on my Torry. it came with a UC rack so heres hoping i have a UC front end. very doubtful though Posted Image

RH steering arm GM 8328

LH Steering arm GM 9928329
DH1D

RH stub axle GM34547

LH stub axle Holden 34548

Seems like a mixed bag doesnt it??

RH steering arm GM 8328 (LX Steering Arm)

LH Steering arm GM 9928329 (LX Steering Arm)

RH stub axle GM34547 (RH LX Disc)

LH stub axle Holden 34548 (LH LX Disc)

The LH and LX parts catalogues show the same part numbers for the stub axles. The UC catalogue has a different part number. I was not aware there was any difference between the disc stub axles.

A bit later than I promised but here is the pics I took today. I used a die grinder for a neater cut rather than a grinder.

Hi nemo355v8,
I too have selected the UPC 330mm upgrade, for my UChatch project. I have just joined this forum & like you am having the same issues. I just wondered if you could repost the above pics, please?
Did the mod solve your issue, & now with the test of time has it developed any cracks or weakness because of the mod?
I was beginning to think I may have to fabricate a set of tubular top arms to get around this issue, or buy a set....
Cheers

Send them back and get the 290's, apparently they will fit but only if you are using torana stubs, I have the same crap sitting in my shed at home.
