Bugger !! Mine got a wash but didnt suffer the same fate as yours. We wash in cold water though, not sure if that makes a difference (heavy duty wash, not inside out).

Hi All

I thought that I would add a bit of a wrap up from me. As most of you know, most of the organising of Toranafest comes down to about six to ten of us in the Club, when it comes down to the organising of Toranafest. A lot of trust goes into us by the Club's members into how we actually run this event.

By all means, I am not taking anything away from any of the members of the Club that make a huge effort on the day to make sure that the show runs as smoothly as it does. Indeed, if is wasn't for all of the members of our Club, there would not be a "Toranafest"!!

I can tell you now, we probably ask more of our Club members, than any other Club and I am very proud to be a part of the Hunter Valle Torana Club and "Toranafest"!!

To all of the Hunter Valley Torana Club, I would like to publicly thank them all for their help and support of Toranafest this year.

This is the Best Torana Show in Australia!!

cheers
Mick McCardle
President
Hunter Valley Torana Club

Should be something in the next Just Holdens Magazine...

Other than that, apparantly most magazines in this country aren't too interested in the largest gathering of Toranas.. :Headbang2:

You will be doing :banghead: forever Mick as I too have emailed AMC about Toranafest and had no replies.

I told AMC and Australian Classic Car magazines that I knew where Harry Firth's supercharged MGTC was (now fully and immaculantly restored) and that all they had to do was get Harry to a certain airport and it would be waiting for him (at the airport) when he got off the plane but they didn't even give me the curtesy of a reply.

If I ever get any more info on "any" car of significance, they can jam it up their backsides side-ways as I will not inform them again of a story that would help sell their magazines.

Regards .... Barry
