My turn to say a big THANK YOU to HVTC , Motto farm and the Sydney Torana Club

Also nice to meet up with so many forum members, its a shame I walked past many others not knowing who they were,

Maybe next year we can have forum names on us.

Also thanks to Wayne,Keith,Jason,Ben,Brian,Terry and Geoff it was great to meet at my house for a quick photo

Such a great event that 1 day is not long enough,
I liked the idea of the Saturday cruise even though i was the 92nd car to arrive out of 92 cars (not happy Keith)

Every Torana at the fest was unique and congratulations must go to all the people that drove long distances to show there vehicles

The stories from this weekend will certainly continue for a long time

And special thanks to the GMH-Torana forum for the friendships that it has created that will last forever

I Love my Torana's !!!!

I'll stick up a few pics too. I didn't take too many, as I'd need a bigger memory card to get pics of all the nice ones there. The only real dunger one was that sh1tty matt black ute : )

Posted Image

I think the canberra boys got my vote the most, but seriously there were so many quality cars there it was a shame to have to leave in the ute : )

This was my favourite of the show. Bretts big block hatch, now with 6 speed manual and EFI : )

This thing was packing serious rubber!

This hatch was so clean and understated it really caught my eye. Very nice!

Posted Image

Posted Image

This was my favourite pointy torana. It had the correct amount of doors, the correct amount of cylinders and 3 pedals!!! Lovely!

Posted Image

Loved this one too. Wide sprintmasters are great.

Posted Image

Another nice 4 door. I loved the hotwires on it. Nicely done indeed!

No torana show is right without Howards car.

Posted Image

Not sure why they let this old cruster in : )

A big thanks has to go out to everyone involved. It's so well organised and everyone was a pleasure do deal with. I hope to be back again next year!

I just remembered I was going to mention one of the funniest things I heard on sunday. I left bub with my husband under our shade cover and went looking at cars and taking photos and secretly went and brought some model Torries for him for our annivesary.

Whilst I was walking around I saw three young girls (approx 18) walking around in VERY skimpy bikinis and little bitty shorts (didn't leave much to the imagination). They were parading themselves around and didn't seem remotely interested in the cars. Whilst I was admiring some cars near the Qld Torana club area one of the girls turned to the other two and said

" The guys aren't even looking at us - They are TOO busy looking at the stupid cars " :P  :P  :P  :P :)

I cracked up laughing as they were trying to create a stir and it didn't work - Sorry ladies beautiful Torana's win out (and so they should)

Top event! Cheers Mick and the HVTC :spoton:
I spent Sunday wandering round trying in particular to find forum members, great to put some faces to names finally.
Dirtbag should be re-named The Phantom
