Hi all, Thanks for your support of Toranafest 2011. Without your support Toranafest would not be what it is.
You all understand what Toranafest is all about.......ALL TORANAS, AND HAVING FUN.
It is also a great feeling to know that we are raising money for Ronald McDonald House here in the Hunter.

The HVTC are lucky to have Mick and his better half Fermina as members, and it was fitting that Mick won the Tony Mattingly Trophy.
What a fantastic bunch we have in the HVTC, not just the members but family and friends alike. They worked their butts off top job guys!!
Thanks to the guys who bought stuff and also donated stuff at the auctions.
Thanks also to Todd Martin, what a great job he does every year.

To the Presidents of all the Clubs, thanks for your support and encouragment. Keith keep the e-mails coming!!!
To the Canberra Boys, 1 beer is not enough hopefully next year I can spend some more time admiring your trailer, if you know what I mean.

Regards
Pete Morris
President
Hunter Valley Torana Club Inc

Really ????? Your one is one of my really favorites and is also similar colour to what we want to paint ours :-) So I was checking it out even more, was good to see the colour on the car properly and not just test paints on panels :-)

Thanks for the kind words Lexi, glad you liked it.

Had a great time there at Toranafest this year.
Put some faces to some forum members i had not met before Royalplumss, MissLC, Billywest (bring ur UC next year), Big T (i better have a beer or 2 with you next year).
I also got to catch up with 73BATHXU1HTBATH350 and Shan620
I did not want anything autographed and it was good to chat to Ian Tate, John Sheppard and Colin Bond about HDT days in the 60s/70s when the lineup had quietened down.
Had a trouble free cruise there with my uncle and he had a great time in his torana

Im not sure why they let mine in i would have parked it outside LOL
Posted Image

I dont know about letting fords in LOL
Posted Image

I let the wife (aka Lexi) drive back home part of the way which she enjoyed.
Posted Image

Next year il see if its ok to drag the BBQ along once its finshed and painted.

The weekend was awesome, everyone was up for a chat and no one that I met had a chip on there shoulders, just a fantastic week end, and hanging for next year.
