keith have you fixed that front bar of yours?
i can get you one of mine or get yours fixed but we'd have to paint it white which still doesnt look to bad on a white and black car.

Yes thanks mate but I have been extremely busy with some very private matters that unfortunately have given me some heart stress.

I've gone close to throwing in the towel over these matters

also as i dont have a rego'd car would anyone be able to able to take me in their car for the cruise.i'd really hate to miss it.ill ride in anything except a uc

Also not sure if a mate is coming just yet so if you like there is also room in mine for the cruise

43 Days to go!! :3gears:

another quck update on Toranafest...

Entries Rec'd so far are at 145!
That is still up from last year and it's interesting to note that approx 25% of those entered are coming to Toranafest for the first time!!
I reckon we are easily heading for 300 entries!
If you don't want to miss out on a goodie bag, you need to get you entry form in NOW!!

We have just picked up a couple of more VIP's in the way of Bob Skelton and Don Holland! It will be great to have these guys there this year as well..

One for those travelling up from Sydney, on the Sunday, there will be a road closure happening on the F3 Exit.

LATEST UPDATE

30 DAYS TO GO!!

Well with only one month to go, things are certainly in 4th gear now! :3gears:

It is going to be another cracker of a weekend! :party:

Here is some of the latest news...

Toranafest Cruise
This is shaping up to be a great little run for those interested. With expected numbers of around 60-70 cars it promises to be a great spectacle in itself.

Meet and Greet BBQ
Todd, Eliza from Motto farm and I are working hard to ensure that this in a night to remember! With interviews, Auctions as well as some catch up with old mates, it should be another great night!

Toranafest
Entrant numbers are still up on this time last year with 180 already entered. Interesting that over 50 of these are new to Toranafest as well.

Of that 180, the break up is;
Small Toranas: 70. and
Big Toranas: 110.

Again, we have every model Torana entered which is no small feat given that some of these models are over 40years old! :spoton:

If you are still unsure about coming, or have simply not entered yet, please be aware that entries recieved after 31 August MAY NOT recieve a goody bag!!! :cry:

Trust me, the value of this year's goody bag is climbing towards $100.00!!
You don't want to miss out!
Remember, you need to pre enter to get a goody bag!!

I can tell you that we have added Bob Forbes to the List of VIP's attending and with other drivers like Des West, Colin Bond, Bob Skelton and Don Holland, that is a huge wealth of Bathurst Experience, right there. Not to mention the likes of Bev and James Brock, John Sheppard, Leo Pruneau, Ian Tate and the (in)famous Nowacki Brothers!! There is something for everyone!!

So what are some of the 'Myths and Legend' Cars that are coming this year??? You'll just have to wait and see!! :innocent:

Anyway, get your entry forms in. Book your acommodation (if there's any left!) and get you car and yourself to the biggest and best Torana Car Show!!

300 has been talked about but we still have a long way go.
Guys just an update with regards to the cruise on Saturday arvo.
So far I have 32 people (cars) indicating they want to join the cruise.

Due to some unforseen circumstances the Riverina Holden Owners have a room up for grabs.

It is a family room that can sleep upto 6

Queen size bed & separate room with 2 bunk beds.

just thought that I would let you all know, we have just hit 200 entries!!

That is on par with last year, so I reckon we could be looking at around the same nubers as last year, about 275!

Just for those that haven't entered yet, if you can get your entries to us NLT 10 Sept, that will assure you of a goody bag.

G'day all Festites :blink2:

The Riverina Holden Owners have given their alotted family room back to the Fest Motel so anyone wanting it please contact Eliza.

Eliza should be back at work in the morning.

Family room sleeps upto 6 with queen size bed and 2nd room with 2 bunk beds. Has kitchenette and bit larger fridge than normal rooms.

Hi All

With a little over 11 days to go we are starting to get pretty excited up here in Newcastle!

Entry numbers so far are sitting at 215 so we are on track for around 270 again this year!!

For those that have not entered yet. If you would still like to recieve a goody bag, you need to get your entry forms to us NLT the Friday!

After Friday, they will not be treated as a Pre entrant.

I hope to post up the Auction Lists for the Sat BBQ and Toranafest on the Sunday very soon.

We will also post up details of what is happening on the day as well.
